Ceratium-dinoflagellate swimming

[Watch a Ceratium-dinoflagellate swimming!]

When a Ceratium-dinoflagellate swims, it uses its two mobile cell protrusions or flagellae. All dinoflagellates swim in the same way and in the picture of protoperidinium-dinoflagellate, both flagellae are clearly seen.
