Distribution
Distribution in scandinavian waters

Maximum length: 20 cm.
Appearance: Dead men´s fingers consist of a colony of small coral polyps. They vary from dark orange to light yellow, almost white in colour.
Depth: 8-100 m.
Environment: Found mostly on rocks and cliffs in the red algae zone.
Classification: Dead men´ fingers belong to the anthozoa group under the cnidarians.
