Three copepods

Copepods are a large and highly variable group. In the picture above, variations in size, colour and form are visible between a number of pelagic copepods. Left to right: the pear shaped Temora longicornis; the little individual of the Oithona family and the blue green Anomalocera patersonii. You can see the oithona copepod magnified.
