Distribution
Distribution in scandinavian waters

Maximum length: Ø:5 (shell) cm.
Appearance: Greenish with violet tipped spines. Robust and equally short spines. Compare with Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis.
Depth: 0,5-100 m.
Environment: The green sea-urchin is commonly found amongst seaweed, eel grass and on shell-gravel covered bottoms.
Classification: The green sea-urchin belongs to the group echinoidea under the group echinodermata (spiney-skinned).
