Distribution
Distribution in scandinavian waters

Maximum length 75 cm with claw (4 kg).
Appearance: Blue/black in colour. If you want to see a claw in natural size click here. About one lobster per 3000 is blue in colour.
Depth: 2-40 m.
Environment: The lobster lives on rocky bottoms or on algae covered stone shoals.
Classification: The lobster is a member of the 10-footed crustacea group, a crustacaen under the arthropods.
